Experience Christ-Centered Education in the Lebanon Area

Who We Are

Our Mission

The Cross Christian School, formerly known as Tri-County Christian School, exists to provide an alternative education option for families in the Lebanon area. Our main goal is to come alongside parents in raising disciples of Christ in an academically rigorous environment. We want our students to be prepared for whatever the Lord calls them to do and we will work diligently to help each individual child reach their full potential.

Frequently asked questions

What grades do we offer and how are the classes set up?

Our school currently offers classes for kindergarten through eleventh grade. Kindergarten through fourth grade is located at Heritage Baptist Church (690 Lynn Street, Lebanon) and 5th grade through 11th grade is located at Hillcrest Baptist Church (399 Hoover Ave, Lebanon). All classes for kindergarten through sixth grade are separated by grade. 7th-11th graders are separated by grade for core classes and combine for elective classes. We will add 12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year.

What curriculum do we use?

We use BJU Press (Bob Jones University) for our curriculum. We encourage our educators to supplement and enhance the curriculum to fit each class and meet the needs of each individual student.

Do we require uniforms?

No. We do not have uniforms, however, we do have a dress code policy that can be found in our handbook.

Are we accredited?

Not currently. We are in the beginning stages of pursuing accreditation.

What denomination are we?

The Cross Christian School exists as a broadly evangelical option for families. We consider ourselves non-denominational. Our statement of faith is included in the handbook for families.

What are our start and end times?

The Hillcrest building (5th-10th) starts at 8:00am and ends at 3:15pm. The Heritage building (K-4th) starts at 8:15am and ends at 3:25pm.

Do we offer transportation?

No, not at this time.

Are lunch and breakfast offered?

No, not at this time. Students need to have eaten breakfast before class begins and will need to bring their own lunches.

How much is tuition and enrollment?

Our current tuition is $2,500 for the school year. This can be paid upfront (5% discount) or paid monthly throughout the school year. There is a 5% tuition discount for siblings. The enrollment fee is $50 for returning students and $75 for new students. We also have a $200 books and supplies fee that covers all of the curriculum and almost all of the supplies your child will need for the school year.
